Léon BOPP DU PONT (1848 in Bordeaux -1903 in Polynesia?)
This Bordeaux landscape gardener was a pupil of Maxime Lalanne and Harpignies. These delicate views of moors, dunes, coastlines and beaches from the Aquitaine coast to the Basque coast adorned the interiors of all the great Bordeaux and Arcachon mansions of the late 19th century.
