André Voulgre built up a collection of graphic arts to illustrate his Périgord. Thus, Perigord painters and illustrators as well as artists who captured the landscapes or life in Perigord are represented: Cabié, Félix, Süe, Albe, Malville. All of them followed the same path: none escaped the attraction of the cultural centre of Bordeaux and then the Parisian artistic milieu before returning to participate in the Perigord art fairs or settling in the Dordogne.
