The dining room
The chartreuse owners and their guests had their meals in this reception room according to the middle class etiquette dictated by the rules of the arts de la table. The lady of the house was in charge of everything : the room decoration, the table setting, the position of the diners, the service of the dishes, courtesies. How to welcome guests in this stately room is already decisive for the reputation of the house.
